I have worked with native Scottish timber for over 30 years. I produce a variety of bespoke work, ranging from furniture, sculpture, carving, and woodturning to specialist architectural joinery. My wood turning ranges from bowls and vessels to finials and newel caps.   All the materials that I use are sourced as locally as possible to my workshop in Selkirk, in  the Scottish Borders. I also use reclaimed pitch pine and Scots pine for restoration projects, so I can make newel caps and staircase parts that match your originals in wood quality, colour and grain. This reclaimed wood comes from demolished textile mills and churches in the Scottish Borders, so it is local too.
