This bespoke hand carved oak chair was a special commission. It is a replica 17th century Guild Chair, for the Selkirk Incorporation of Hammermen. Made from Scottish oak, it has intricate traditional carved designs.

Hammermans Chair in the new hall

The chair, complete with commemoration brass plaque, now sits in the Selkirk Incorporation of Hammermen’s meeting hall.
